We build Astro themes: complete, opinionated sites you install, fill with your own work, and publish. The design direction is done. What is left is the part only you can do.
Most small teams do not need a design process. They need somebody to have already had the argument about how big the biggest text on the page should be, and to have written the answer down somewhere they can change it.
That is what a Quaeris theme is. A finished composition with its opinions exposed as a short list of tokens: the scale, the measure, the hairline, the accent. Change five values and the whole site moves with you.
We build on Astro because it gets out of the way. Content renders to HTML, interactivity is opt-in per component, and a build is a folder of static files you can host anywhere. Nothing about that is fashionable, and all of it is the reason the pages stay fast three years later.

A position, not a preset
Every theme states a direction — a type scale, a grid, a density — and holds it across every page. You can disagree with it in five values, which is the point.

The page before the framework
Content renders to HTML on the server. JavaScript appears only where an interaction genuinely needs it, and never between a reader and the words.

Small enough to read
Components you can open, understand and change in an afternoon. No abstraction that needs a diagram before you can move a heading.

Finished, then handed over
A theme ships when it works on real content at real lengths — one project or forty, a short bio or a long one. Not when the demo looks good.
