Mara sets the visual direction for every Quaeris theme. They spent a decade art-directing for cultural institutions and independent studios before deciding that the most useful thing they could hand a small team was not a pitch deck but a finished, opinionated site.
Their work starts from the type scale and the grid, and only then goes looking for images.
